Also, if I wanted to use the SVN skin but was still having issues with the background, would it be hypothetically possible to download the backgrounds folder from the master github and move them into the Passion repo's skin install without issue?

I don't think I have changed anything that should have impacted that, but who knows at this point. :o

Just in case there are still issues with the backgrounds, here's a zip of the folder. The backgrounds folder should be in skin.neon/media

Stoli, I am not able to run the lyrics add-ons via the music OSD. I set the path the lyric script in options but i am not able to select the lyrics button in the OSD. Any ideas?

Yeah, there's an error in some piece of code in some file that someone should really look into. Especially since this was reported before and still not fixed! Cool

I also found out the no backgrounds issue, the zip downloaded from the passion repo doesn't even have the backgrounds folder inside the media folder Sad

nothing to do with any XBMC bug. Adding the folder manually from the zip you provided worked a treat though.

ooh, that's ugly. That's what I get for coding at work w/a limited set of files to work from. I'll get it fixed Smile

As for the passion download, they add everything into the textures.xbt, so you wouldn't see the folder structure - but it does appear to be an issue there and not with the skin/xbmc.

Hi stoli. It seems that now trailers play only full screen despite of changing the option in skin settings.

Stoli...bugs?....

If I am playing a song and from the Now Playing screen press N, I am taken back to the playlist. The now playing song is shown scrolling across the screen in front the same song title which makes it hard to read. If I stay on this view when the next song plays the scrolling stops but does not move on to the next song. There is still overlap between the song title and the song title that was scrolling.

Now here is the weird thing...If I press escape to go back to the Now Playing screen and press N again after the next song is playing, the title is not scrolling. Instead its highlighted but static. I cant get the title to scroll again.

Any ideas?

Stoli...more observations:

Neon is very slow to respond when pressing i while watching a movie or tv show. Also, when i is pressed, initially a panel is displayed at the top of the screen showing the time bar, time end, etc. A few seconds later, the time bar moves to the bottom when the bottom info panel appears showing episode/title, poster, etc. Is this the intended behavior?

Also, I cant get banner.jpg to work. I have selected it in the options but instead of my banner.jpg appearing a very small folder.jpg image is displayed. Any ideas?

This one may not be a skin issue, but I'll look into it.

As for the delay for movie information, that is by design. I'll add an option to disable the delay.

Stoli, I am sure you are totally sick of hearing from me now...but I wonder if one of the latest releases broke extrathumbs in the Dark Showcase view? All of a sudden for me the extrathumbs stopped working for all of my movies. I have tried refreshing a movie (which has worked in the past), deleting my entire database and re-adding, deleting thumbnails folder and readding...no luck.

EDIT...did more research...my other xbmc system is showing the extrathumbs fine. Both of the xbmc clients share a mysql database and are connected fine. The system that shows the thumbs is remote while the one not showing the thumbs has mysql running on it locally. I dont think this should matter but perhaps its a datapoint?

EDIT #2...extrathumbs for movie sets work fine but not regular movies

EDIT #3...checked a different skin which also used to show extrathumbs just fine and it doesnt work either. I guess when I nuked my thumbnails folder I deleted a folder that is not automatically recreated by XBMC? Anyone know what this folder may be?
