I must have done something wrong in updating the translation, i'm afraid. After refreshing my svn i now get english texts (although new dutch strings file has been downloaded).

please note that xbmc does not support Vietnamese yet.
so the first thing that needs to be done is to translate the main xbmc language file to Vietnamese.
as soon as that one is added to xbmc, people can start translating skins / addons to Vietnamese as well.
