Well i can really care less about playing the "blue-ray" movies on the player. i just thought since the xbox was able to use xbmc these units would be nice hack and get xbmc running also, i will tear mine apart to see if i can figure out the exact specs.

look into mezzmo for samsung bluray players. streams very well. works just like the windows media player media server.

1. If your tv has extra hdmi or vga input, just install xbmc on your pc and cable it to the tv.
2. Put a TV tuner card in the computer + xbmc and smash the television.
3. Hang a mini-pc (HTPC) on back of the tv (Zotac Zbox with SSD, $200).
