delete the skin.transparency folder
and do a fresh checkout.

lemme know if the issue still occurs,
just tried it myself and things work fine now.

I did a fresh checkout now. The issue seems to have gone now. Thanks for the help.

you must be using some third party repo (passion.org?) then?

- master345 - 2011-07-10

yes i found out i am using passion. oh dear.

so is there is no way of getting t! svn through xbmc itself (via addon)or having it automatically update after using tortoise svn then? dop i have to use tortoise svn everytime?

using tortoise is the preferred way, yes...but i doubt there's a way to have it auto-update.

T! svn is not ready (although pretty close) to be added to any kind of repo,
so that's the reason you're getting dependencies issues.

i hope to get T! in the official xbmc pre-eden repo over the next week though.

ok i used tortoise and i replaced everything in addons-->skin.transparebncy.svn folder with the tortoise folders like 720p etc.

It works and says T! SVN 4.02 when i look in system info (said 4.01 before) with no dependency messages BUT all my customisations are gone, like custom menus, backgrounds etc. even though I never touched anything else in whole XBMC folder inc. guisettings.xml...

do you know how i can make the 'official svn' skin pick up my custom settings againHuh

thanks

i wouldn't know of an easy way. passion.org uses a different name for the skin (skin.transparency.svn), so it looks like a different skin to xbmc.

some major cleanup/renaming of the entries in guisettings.xml may get you somewhere, but i wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless they know what they're doing.

trying to clone svn and get this

fatal: http://transparency-xbmc.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/info/refs not found: did you run git update-server-info on the server?

edit - helps if i use tortoise svn rather than toirtoise git!!!

go ronie, go! Due to several complex interactions between bugs and pre-releases I've been forced to abandon Transparency and go back to Confluence. Much as I admire Confluence, there's really no way to make it work with fanart. Interface elements are always in the wrong place Smile

Keep up the good work!

ronie Wrote:heh, never knew xbmc now also supports watched flags for files with no content set.

will add it to my todo list.

nag alert... :o
are you still planning on implementing this, ronie? i'd love to have this feature in t!

heh, it was still on my todo list...
but since now is as good a time as any, i've added it right away. ;-)

ronie,

i am using the official svn using tortoise and everything! i am so happy! got rid of the passion version.

Anyway real quick question: Everything works except one thing...when i add a *particular* source or as a favourite to the home menu as a custom menu item it doesnt work. It opens a non library video screen that I cannot navigate. The favourite when used on its own works fine as well as other favourites as custom home menu items just not this one. Can you help or do you know of it as an existing bug? Whats funny is that it worked perfectly on the passion one lol. oh dear.

I know I havent followed the correct procedure ie supplying a debug log etc etc but only if you know off the top of your head ronie why this has happened or if it has happened before...
