?

there's tv show banners everywhere it T!

I apologize for both my late response and my vague previous comment. What I really meant was a more advance usage of tv show banners, which I think a visual display would do much better, so here is what I meant using some photoshop voodoo magic:

Also, is it possible to add more favorites to the Music Videos button, right now it has 3 but could it be expanded to maybe 6 or 10? I ask because I have made 6 smart playlists for my music vid's but since the Music Videos button on has 3 favorites I am having to use one of the custom buttons and have also named it Music Videos since they can have up to 10 favorites. I'd really like have them better organized if possible.

Not to sound all kiss ass or anything, but thanks for all your hard work on imo the best skin for xbmc, ronnie.
Opps, I forgot to mention about then maybe changing the thumbnail icon on the left to display instead a priority of if available <tvshow>-boxart.jpg then <tvshow-season-all>.jpg then thumbnail.jpg.

Ok, so I was able to figure out how to modify custom_SkinSettings.xml & Includes_Home.xml to allow me to add the 3 more favorites and 9 total items to the Music Videos submenu:

Though I managed to get one thing done myself, I don't even know where to begin with the advanced tv show banner support.

Hi,

I'm using a version of T! I downloaded from the SVN on 23 October, and a Frodo compile of XBMC that I downloaded on 24 October.

In the Live TV menu, when I navigate down through the TV and Radio menu items then to timeline, XBMC freezes. It seems unable to draw the timeline.

The timeline works OK in other skins. I'm using A600's DVBViewer live tv plugin.

It's meant I've had to switch to another skin for now, which I'm a bit grumpy about as I like Transparency.

i can't reproduce here with tv headend.

could you post a Debug Log of the freeze, just in case it includes some useful info?

Any chance to make use of thew new filters, which create fantastic options for the menu

i think if you add them to favourites first and then map them to a home menu button it should work?

Hi,

I'm having the same issue with a Frodo build and T! SVN downloaded yesterday (Oct. 27). XBMC crashes as soon as I try to access the EPG timeline.

EPG timeline works fine in Confluence. I'm using the VU+ addon as backend.

thanx!

would you mind testing one thing?

disable the vu+ pvr addon for a minute and test it with the demo pvr addon instead.

the demo pvr addon can be downloaded here:

i've made some changes to the epg code in T! svn.
it's a shot in the dark, since i can't reproduce the crash myself.

please test and let me know.

thanx again for helping me out on this one :-)

meh, i'm out of ideas then...

please create a ticket on trac (include your latest logfiles) and add me to the cc list.
i'll see if i can get one of the xbmc devs to look into it.

I have created a ticket, hopefully I've done it right. Please let me know if you want me to do any testing.

i've left some comments on the ticket for the xbmc devs.

recently added items not showing on home window - kossatzd - 2012-11-09

Hey ronie,

Running latest xbmc nightly and latest svn transparency skin on both my macbook and my linux box (ubuntu).

The recently added items on the home window show just fine on the mac, but not on the linux box. And if i switch the skin to confluence on linux, it shows the items just fine. It's been doing this for a over a week now, i was just hoping that it would go away if I kept updating. I even used a virgin .xbmc folder to see if that solved anything and it did not.

xbmc log -> http://pastebin.com/nRrdw7VY
Although I don't see anything glaring from there.

Thanks,
kossatzd
