- Martijn - 2011-10-28 21:39 Hey Ronie, Did you manage to add the button for the extrafanart downloading? Next version will include extrathumbs. For now all script skin code will stay the same. What do you think is a good maximum for the extrathumbs? It's now set at 4. - ronie - 2011-10-28 22:07 Machine-Sanctum Wrote:Hey Ronie, believe it or not, it was on my list for tonight. got my fridge refilled, so ready to go ;-) Machine-Sanctum Wrote:Next version will include extrathumbs. I already got me a bottle of wine ![]() Quote:i have no idea how many thumbs other skins are using, but T! is currently limited to 2.Nox has a max of 4 so i think i'll stick with that. It takes some time for me because I don't know s**t about coding and especially python. So i'm really learning as i go along. One thing that now has to be done is enable pre-cashing because after the first downloading batch you'll go through hell when xbmc is doing it's on the fly caching. - ronie - 2011-10-28 22:37 Machine-Sanctum Wrote:I already got me a bottle of wine yeah, you're gonna need that when you get to deal with all the issues users are having with your scripts. ;-) Machine-Sanctum Wrote:We are ironing out the internals of the downloader so it will be easier to expand. So i'm really learning as i go along. python is fun...and easy to learn. just google what you don't know and you'll find plenty code examples to get you started. oh...and add a lot of logging to the script, so you can see exactly what's going on. - Martijn - 2011-10-28 22:49 ronie Wrote:yeah, you're gonna need that when you get to deal with all the issues users are having with your scripts. ;-)That's why you first need to test them before releasing ![]() lol just kidding Quote:oh...and add a lot of logging to the script, so you can see exactly what's going on.That's something we did from the start when trying it out ourself. As much error catching as possible. It's a shame that the wiki isn't up-to-date. The only way you can know how to do something is take apart other scripts. Like the working with the GUi. Luckily i have done some basic C/C++ and JAVA and just asking around helps. - ronie - 2011-10-29 01:24 right, it's there... done ![]() didn't have much room for an extra button in the video info dialog, so i had to take the difficult route and be creative to come up with a suitable solution. - Martijn - 2011-10-29 01:45 ronie Wrote:right, it's there... done Great. I'll download the svn tomorrow and see what you've come up with. - PatK - 2011-10-29 16:38 Latest build Oct 29 compile has brought back the mediaflags and the movie-plot, but the double dates are still there in video file mode. - ronie - 2011-10-29 17:23 PatK Wrote:Latest build Oct 29 compile has brought back the mediaflags and the movie-plot, but the double dates are still there in video file mode. that's only in coverflow view right? if you enable stacking on the side menu, solves the issue correct? - PatK - 2011-10-29 17:44 ronie Wrote:that's only in coverflow view right? Correct... Love the integration of poster/fanart into artwork but I noticed blue line slightly off in TV mode. detail triva... Love'n it so far.
