I'm not sure where the changes would need to be made, but is there any way of stopping themes played with TVTunes from submitting to Last.FM?

I'm guessing that it's out of the TVTunes add-on control.

Once more, I'm asking for help, tvtunes just doesn't play anything, although the themes are stored correctly in the right locations...

Here's my log:

looks like you haven't enabled it in your skin settings:

system > skin > general > play tv theme songs

I have a problem with the tvtunes script... if the script is running and I run another script, XBMC freezes nearly all the time. I'm using tvtunes 1.0.6 and XBMC 20110908-9a72b39 (OS X).

Hi there,

I have just found tvtunes and hope it will be great...but

I am using XBMC nightly, and aeon mq3 skin i found tvtunes as it is listed even if you don't have the addon.

I then downloaded it from repository (1.06) ran it and it scanned my shows found the music etc i then activated it but don't get any music playing.

Should it play when i enter a series sub-menu/episode list?

Any help would be great!

I'm not familira with its support in MQ3, but when you enter the tv show itself, so season/episode selection - it should play.

Scanning your shows and downloading should create theme.mp3 files. For me, I don't use the script to scan and download - I just get the mp3 files manually and rename them theme.mp3.

First, check to make sure the theme.mp3 files are in the directory of each of your tv shows.

Second, make sure in your skin settings you have it enabled (this may or may not be required in MQ3)

Wow cheers for the quick reply! Should the mp3 be where my actual video is, if so thats the problem!!

The theme.mp3 should be located in the TV Shows root folder

ie:
\Shows\House\theme.mp3
\Shows\Chuck\theme.mp3
etc

Edit: I should add, make sure it's enabled in MQ3. Go into the Show, bring up the left menu (media menu).
Under ADD-ONS -> Available Addon-Ons -> Activate TV Tunes (make sure that is checked on)
You stated you did, but doesn't hurt to double check.

Yep solved!

Looks like no downloaded themes were saved...no theme.mp3 anywhere. I manually downloaded and put them into my folders and it worked, didn't even have to restart xbmc.

But I did use tvtunes 1.06 to get them originally it just didn't save them so possibly a bug
