A bit off topic, but might be an idea. - PatK - 2011-06-03 18:10 Before I browse my shares, I get XBMC to play some classical music to put me in the mood (like a skin theme), then go about browsing and when I enter a TV show folder, TV Tunes plays the theme... I'm wondering if this kind of behaviour could be automated, and specifically on folder exit to continue playing a skin theme? If I could manually do this within XBMC .... couldn't this be scripted? - PaulC2K - 2011-06-14 19:25 Hi, Just installed TVTunes (0.9.0) from the Addons, and enabled it within my skin (Aeon Nox) and i havent seen anything from it. Same issue on a friends install. Its definitely installed, i can configure it, but thats it. I have the TV Logo script installed, is this meant to integrate into the side-menu in the same way so it can be manually ran, cos theres nothing there. The addons folder looks like its installed fine, 250kb in size. The lights are on, but nobodys home. Any suggestions? - fional - 2011-06-14 19:30 PaulC2K Wrote:Hi, Go to the programs menu and run it from there. It's not, to my knowledge, an automatic thing. You need to run it, it'll then go through your TV shows and ask your input re: the downloads. Once you run it, you don't need to run it again unless you add more shows. Good luck! - fional - 2011-06-14 19:35 I keep my tv shows across a series of external drives that would not always be on. Example: Drive F is on, I run TV Tunes and download a bunch of tunes. I swap out Drive F with Drive G and run TV Tunes again. Not seeing any of the "Drive F" material, it asks me, for each one, whether I wish to download it or not. Of course, whether I do or not is moot, because it won't put it anywhere either way (or doesn't seem to, not in my test anyway.) My question is, is it possible to somehow (before it asks if you want to download the theme tune) for tv tunes to check to see if the actual media is visible or not before asking? So that way if a drive is disconnected, it doesn't see "the path", naturally, so therefore doesn't ask. It doesn't sound like a big deal at a glance, but with 500+ tv shows, over several drives, then adding one anywhere makes it a bit of a laborious process. - PaulC2K - 2011-06-14 19:37 fional Wrote:Go to the programs menu and run it from there. Have we missed out a step? neither of us have it in 'Programs' (had it hidden, so wouldnt have seen it, but its not there anyway) ![]() Only thing in there is RSS Editor and SABnzbd, and no TVTunes to add from the 'get more...' addons - fional - 2011-06-14 20:15 PaulC2K Wrote:Have we missed out a step? neither of us have it in 'Programs' (had it hidden, so wouldnt have seen it, but its not there anyway) I probably missed a step, let me turn on my system and find out ![]() Ok, go to System, then Skin, then look at the side panel and go to Add-on. From there, go to Enable Custom Add-on Button 1. From the path to add on, select tv-tunes. Give it whatever label you like, "TV Tunes" THEN go to programs, hit down arrow, and select TV Tunes. Good luck
