I tried this and had no luck, is there anything else I can try? The pop-up is REALLY sarting to bug me!!

Seems to be a problem for everyone since RC1.

Yep me too, this crept in with RC1 and is really annoying, hopefully its one of the bugs in RC1 that will get squashed..

Will this also fix that weird popup whenever you start a show and it says like audio thru passthru cable?

Is it possible to have the theme fade in and fade out instead of a hard stop when I back out of the TV show?

fraid not, there's no easy fade function in xbmc.
it's the same when stopping playback of a movie or song,
we don't fade out there as well.
