[LIVE] At3ion-I deluxe hdmi audio issue dharma 4 - tafypz - 2010-11-11
Hi, I have a problem with my audio setup for my at3ion-I board.
Toslink works really well for all audio formats but hdmi doesn't.
I have my audio settings set to :
HDMI
7.1 speaker configuration
AC3 receiver enabled
DTS receiver enabled
hdmi output device
hdmi passthrough device
I can play my MP3, AAC files via hdmi without a problem
I can play 2ch AAC tracks from video files via hdmi without a problem
I cannot play AC3 and DTS tracks, all I get is some type of static noise from the speakers. Output of the same tracks via toslink works just fine.
Does anybody have a suggestion?

Bump. Same issue, same settings with LIVE install. Using Zotac board w/ nVidia ION chipset. HDMI out to the TV, and SPDIF optical from the TV to the receiver. Seems like the passthrough is not working properly. Anything DTS or DOLBY just comes out as static.
Anyone else having this problem?
