Aspect Ratio anamorphic MKV shows wrong - The.Bartman - 2010-11-16
Hi,
I tried transcoding some anamorphic pal mpg files to MKV using avidemux.
In the encoder settings i checked for PAR settings: "As Input: Keep the PAR of the source video"
When playing the file in xbmc it is played as a 4-3 image in stead of 16-9
This is what i find in the logging when i play the file:
Stream #0.0: Video: h264, yuv420p, 720x576 [PAR 64:45 DAR 16:9], PAR 1:1 DAR 5:4, 25 fps, 25 tbr, 1k tbn, 50 tbc
xbmc seems to read the PAR & DAr correct, but then seems to change it to 1:1 and an almost 4:3.
Anybody an idea what can be causing this? Should i file a bug report?

For info: this also happens on my Vista 32 bit machine with full HD tv connected to it...
Should I file a bug report?
Does anybody else have this problem?
