first of all i want to thanks malte for the black screen solution, works like a charm. my new problem is with the streets of rage remake game, it uses bgdi to run but any script i have made the dont starts on xbmc-live but if i run by putty the game works. the game is on ubuntugames repo.

ive searched and really couldnt find a clear answer for this, but i got my snes emu running good and all my roms, but everytime it goes to download the fanart, thumbs, and info it always says no data. what do i need to do? thanks

Could you be more precise please? "Streets of rage remake" is an emulated or a stand-alone game? What is bgdi? How do you start it? With which script?

Streets of rage remake is a stand-alone fan made game from the same title by sega, bgdi is part of bennugd (http://www.bennugd.org), the command to start the game is "bgdi /usr/local/games/sorr/SorR.dat" that command comes in a script in the package and i have found that the game only runs on root user. i could play by sending a putty command with root user but if i tries with xbmc user got an error.

Try to start your command like this :

Could you give me more information about your problem please. Are you under Windows, Linux, XBMCLive, ATV? Which version of XBMC are you using (Dharma, GIT)? Do you have a script error message? Do you have configured the scrappers to import the information during scan? By default the import option is deactivated for data, thumb and fanarts. With which roms your are not able to retrieve the information? Could yopu please post here, using pastebin service, the content of your launchers.xml file (into userdata/advanced launcher directory)?

I'm having an issue with Advanced Launcher. I'm having it run ZSNES and it loads roms and I can play them fine, but when I exit XBMC doesn't restore the original resolution.

I've tried all sorts of display options for ZSNES but no matter what when I exit to go back to XBMC it defaults back to 1024x768 but my display needs to be 1376x768.

Any help or workarounds would be appreciated.
