Performance Issues from different XBMC releases - ALcALoIDe - 2010-11-22 Hello, folks. Let me try to explain what is happening, so some of you can eventually help. I have a Dell XPS M1710 with D2C running at 2.33ghz, 4Gb ram and geforce 7950gtx go. Lately, I started having performance issues with some videos (mkv). Formerly I thought it was due to the fact new videos had tougher bit rates from audio and video, so my computer was stuttering and dropping frames, which was a cold shower during the movie watching. So, before throwing my laptop to the trash can, I decided to test older versions from XBMC. And all worked fine. No more dropped frames. And I figured that Dharma was giving me a hard time. Is anything I should set on this release or is it a problem with the beta/rc stage? Or my laptop won't run nicely dharma anymore and I need a laptop with vp4 decoding to run it smooth? Thanks for any enlightment. - jhsrennie - 2010-11-23 In the settings under Systsem, Video output check that you have "Use a fullscreen window instead of true fullscreen" turned *off*.
