hi there!
when im looking at movietrailers or musicvideos etc. some of the movieclips is playing with no sound.
and when i press the b-button to stop it and go back to the menu the xbox freeze and i have to reset it.
someone who can help me?

uh hi there,
just thought i'd hop on board this thread. i'm not getting any sound from aqt script either. other scripts work fine. including ifilms. i just installed a newly compiled version of xbmc. everything else seems to work great. i think python is running ok too since the audio in the other scripts is ok.
if anyone has any ideas some help would be great. otherwise i'll just keep searching.

hey snoddas!
check out this thread. it helped me. i needed codec files placed in the mplayer\codecs folder. you could download an older official version of xbmc and get the files from its folder (xbmc\mplayer\codecs). i just cut and pasted them in and now i have sound again on aqtbrowser. :thumbsup:

i downloaded the newest xbmc now (2004-12-31).
in this release they have included a lot of codecs so now everything works again.

did you download the cvs and compile your own copy or did you actually find a site which had such a recent copy compiled already? i ask because i took a look around at the sites i know about and couldn't find such a new copy. how about a hint
if you know of a good location. i compiled the cvs from 12/30 but it didn't seem to have the codecs installed.thanks

i downloaded an compiled version from the swedish bittorrent tracker "the pirate bay" http://thepiratebay.org.
the direct link to the torrentfile is:
