*Puts on design hat*
I don't want to be 'that guy' but does anyone else think the whole steampunk thing is a little detached from the original scrapbook style of the other mockups?
Don't get me wrong, I really like steampunk stuff but for the overall skin design I feel like either some steampunk elements needs to be added to the already finished mockups or some more scrapbook elements need to be added to the current OSD etc mockups.
Old scrapbook and steampunk are different styles which happen to compliment nicely, I just think in this case there needs to be more integration between the two.

Wow blacklist this is probably one of the most creative skins i've seen on here. Is there any estimated time of a release or is it to far out?

Instead of clocks, how about scoreboard style number flippers?
That's based on a 5 second google search at work, I'm sure theres better examples out there.
Or maybe even address book tabs:

Yes. I am however, not going steampunk with this. I think maybe the piece of metal and the gauges might be a bit in that direction - and as a result I may end up adding some more metal elements to the design (I do love rusty metal). But, if you look at some other areas of the design (look at the large fanart view with the pocket watch) there are already some other similar elements. I think maybe we're over-analyzing one screen out of the whole design.
And, I still want to figure out how to integrate the clock idea into the design of some of the "home screens". I may actually look at adding it to the main menu in lieu of the text time at the bottom. Might add to the overall integration.
The flipper clock is ok, but reminds me too much of my Droid X. I'll keep it in mind, though.
I'll be able to gauge a little better once ronie gets these into the working copy, to at least see if it "feels" off for the design.

This is a very refreshing concept of a skin. Can't wait to see it working!
If there's anything I can help out with, please let me know. I can provide a little coding, filehosting or testing. Maybe it's an idea to open up a collaboration page? Or did you choose to keep the dev team small?

The dev team is small, myself on graphics and nutty concepts, Ronie is doing the actual skin coding, and ppic had contributed a bunch of python. I don't see adding any additional memebers right now - frankly if we were going to add anyone to help on the coding side i would want that to come from ronie's corner. He's the one who has to live with someone else touching his XML.
This thread is staying more or less a design log and development forumx and I'm pretty open to new ideas and concepts (see Rad's idea on the bandsintown stuff!)
I really do appreciate all the kind words, support, and brainstorming help. I think that overall it has made the design process much much nicer for me - I've never been one to design in a bubble.

Re-work of TV Home with "Airing today" button added. I'm not sure if airing today makes total sense. More like airing this week?
I also changed the way the number of episodes watched in the most watched list is displayed. I like the red icons better.
