[Windows] XBMC and SMB quick help with directories - ExGemini - 2010-12-12 I followed the basic instruction to create shares from Windows 7 simply sharing the whole directories. It works like charm under Dharma but I've a very small question. Is it possible to create a sort of "Container" directory and place all the share inside? Example. I've 7 directories shared. I add them one by one to my XBMC sources and they all display correctly with corrent directory structures. If I change the source.xml file and place all the shares under a single name , everything shows but directory structure goes kaboom

smb://CHAOSENGINE/DataBase-Anime/ smb://CHAOSENGINE/DataBase-Cartoon/
What I need instead is to have a sort of directory or main share and place them every single other share without compromising the directory structure, is that possible? - Death-Axe - 2010-12-13 What do you mean by kaboom? screen shot me. I use this method, 2 diff HDS same dir structure on both and adding both as one source works fine for me. |
