Really? I can reproduce the same issue completely independant from CE with a seftmade playlist, so this fix should bypass XBMC's handling of playlist in that point.

I don't use ISO's for my movies, all HD movies are in a BluRay Structure (BDMV and CERTIFICATE folders) and my SD movies are in a DVD Structure (VIDEO_TS folder) I don't have any problems playing movies inside a simple playlist (.m3u file) but for it to work properly I have to make sure I use the right path to the file that needs to be initialised by XBMC.

For BluRay that is the index.bdmv file so for a path example smb://SERVER-PC\Disc 5\Science Fiction\Elysium\BDMV\index.bdmv
For DVD this is the VIDEO_TS.IFO file so a path example smb://SERVER-PC\DVD Movies\DVDMovies\Animation Other\A Scanner Darkly\VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.IFO

I am guessing that you are using the path to the ISO, maybe XBMC is having a problem pulling the initialisation file from the image via a playlist?

RE: [RELEASE] Cinema Experience - the new Home Theater Experience Script - XBMC-Roger - 2014-04-12

Maybe that is the reason. I have only the main movie in the ISO, not the entire DVD or Blu-ray. Even though they represent a folder structure within their image, maybe XBMC struggles whenever it has to pick a specific video file from within such folders (either real ones or those in images). ISOs play fine, if I start them from the movie view. I converted such an ISO to mkv and the playlist works without any issues.

Is there a way to have all your Trivia files in say a folder Called Trivia. Then have sub folders for types like Stills, Q&A etc?

And if so can you have more sub folders within them?

Right now I have folder:

Trivia
--Cinemavision
--Q&A
--Stills

When I point CE to the mail folder seems all I get is the Stills. However in the Stills I have

Stills
--Blockbusters
--Movies of 2014
--Oscar Winners 1980-2012
--Pixar

Seems to play them random.

Sorry I missed you previous post... This is caused by a bug in the script(it`s actually caused by 8 spaces..) It is fixed for the next release

Is there a fix for the movie stutter and audio clipping? It only affects the movie...trailers and everything else plays fine.

Do you have anything playing after the movie?

No, it's the last thing that plays.

The script does use a lot of processor power with the last video(the method for testing for the end of the video isn't the best). I have changed how the script handles the testing end of the video so this should be fixed in the next release. For now you can add a closing video and see if that is better..

I also found something else that I am not sure about.

The I play a BD or 3d BD .iso using external player (using TotalMedia Theater 6.6) with external script I would say 7 out of 10 times when it's time to start the external player I know the iso mounts. The player starts then it gets kicked out and I end up back in xbmc. When I don't use CE 7 out of 10 times it just works.

Not sure if something with CE or just xbmc.

Cinema Experience was never really meant to be run with external players. It relies heavily on feedback from the player to function, and external players don't provide the needed info.

Some users have had no issues.

Request: Rating Video Extensions - phantom22 - 2014-04-13

I was having difficulty getting the rating videos to play. I found out why looking in the code where the AVI extension is hard-coded. It would be better to play any video extension or at least let the extension be configurable in the settings.

This has been addressed in the next release

I wouldn't mind using xbmc for my BD iso files but for 3d BD iso since xbmc can't handle true full 1080p 3d I rather use external player.

RE: [RELEASE] Cinema Experience - the new Home Theater Experience Script - dbldown768 - 2014-04-14

Recently I have been having issues with Cinema Experience. I am currently running 4.0.10. The script seems to build the playlist, but after that, it is basically like xbmc is restarted. The machine doesnt reboot, but I see the skin loading up again like i killed the app. Doesn't matter what video I try to play, the same result occurs.

The link below is the tail of the log prior to starting up the script. Just going to the movie, pressing info, and then selecting cinema on Aeon Nox skin.
