- DanMan - 2011-02-12

I've got an Emprex 3009URF Windows Media Center Remote Control

Any ideas what I have to change

Thanks

- SlaveUnit - 2011-02-12

Use the search.
Just search for Emprex 3009URF There are about 10 threads that have some sort of info on it. There are even specific ones for linux and Windows 7.

Lets keep this cinema script thread free of remote issues please.

Movie Trailer does not show up - File to big?????? - markimark - 2011-02-13

I experience this.....
If I add a "single/playlist" trailer from a local folder (for testing: avi below 100MB) it is showing up as it should.
BUT!!!!!!!
If I do the same with a real (meaning big sized) avi file of about 2.2GB it does not showing up. Instead, after start, I still see the library, can hear the audio of the intro and the movie also starts but only in the back. If I leave the library I can see the movie in that small preview window, like "now playing".

What do I wrong? Is that feature only for tiny files, like the one I have used for testing? Is 2.2GB to big for that feature?

Hope there is anybody out there who can help me. Thanks in advance.

Could you run the script again after a reboot, and then post your xbmc.log file to pastebin so I can help you. File size should not matter though, as long as XBMC can play it properly.

Recently I am observing a similar symptom when using HCE. select a movie, start the script. Trivia plays successfully. but the trailers show up in a mini windows on the bottom left of the screen.

I will copy and debug log up shortly.

Here is the log file. The problem occurred twice then I fianlly watched the moive without HCE.

SlaveUnit Wrote:Ok I see what you are saying. I haven't seen that before so I am not sure how it would be fixed.

To post a log go to the program's settings and turn on debug logging. Then your xbmc.log will be in your XBMC dir. Copy and paste that to pastebin.com

Okay, the problem remains where the movie is suffled to the background after all the slides and script for CinemaExperiance has run and the movie has started. This is the code on pastebin...

(Any help is appreciated)

How to achive same feature for video files ?????? - markimark - 2011-02-17

Does anybody have a smart and easy to follow idea how I can achieve something similar for my TVShow video files?
I don´t need the complexity that cinema experience is offering for movies. All I want is that a tv episode always starts with a short video intro (stored on my pc) if I click "play" in my library.

Ideas are welcome.

- htpc-tac - 2011-02-17

an idea could be to have something like "profiles" implemented in cinema experience,
where you can edit your settings for different scenarios?
for example setup your own profiles like this:
  • "home cinema night", with trivia enabled, trailers, intros, etc...
  • "usual movie watch", with less complexity, only one intro, one trailer,...
  • "episode watch", only one intro

sounds cool. unfortunately no such feature is included in the cinema experience plugin.
I was thinking about an "onclick" event that I could add to the regular click event that is related to the "play episode" event. Unfortunately I have no idea how to do this and where the actual "play tv episode event" is to find.

Does anybody know if this could work and how to do it?

- soldave - 2011-02-17

Sorry if this has been covered already. I can get everything working except the BBFC ratings. I know this was a problem a while back but has it been fixed yet? I just get it going straight from the feature presentation intro to the sound video clip. Have got all my folders and files named appropriately as far as I know, and the movies labelled as per XBMC Media Companion. Not sure why it's not working.

Hi folks, trying this for the first time not very successfully. I am using aeon nox, going to info then play from there should open the script but all I get is addon script failed. My debug log is full of "could not return information about unknown plugin script.cinema.experience"

here is some paste from the log, returning quite a few errors: http://pastebin.com/hCfsMqSq

adding intro/outro option for videos - markimark - 2011-02-17

@ giftie

Hi there,

I really would like to see the option to add an intro and maybe an outro as well to regular video files that are not related to released movies but other stuff we might have on our pc and that we would like to watch in a customized way somehow.

The feature that is included refers to the movie listing only and the new option could refer to the tvshow listing or maybe to all "other" (other than movies) files that are added as a source or maybe you could define a certain source that you want to activate the option for.

Don´t you think that this could be a nice addition to that wonderful script? It would make it much more flexible.

Looks like a file from the version I am working on, found its way into the repo. I'll have this taken care of this evening, you will see version 1.0.10 in the repo when it is complete(it really is not an upgrade just a fix for my mistake)

Sorry all...

It should now be ok for use again...
