the ntsc 4x3 does not fit the screen well...
the bottom "drops off" so the bottom part is missing.
example: text under movie covers on the bottom line does not show

if you delete the ntsc folder, xbmc will scale it properly.

edit, i think there may be a bug or icon missing.
i'm running it in pal widescreen. there doesnt seem to be an icon indicating when shuffle is enabled in the music playlist window

thanks and i will keep it up to date... the stacking problem does sound like a bug to me - well spotted, i'll get that fixed and have an update available on the website asap.
