As for the error message: try uninstalling the recently added plugin and reinstalling it.

I can't find it in the addon menu.

How can I move new files into the .xbmc folder. When I connect with filezilla I have no rights. I can ssh in with putty and then sudo everything, but its a lot more work and I'm not that handy with linux.

Hi guys,

I have a problem with some 1080P files. My TV is only 720P but it should still play them.

The files are MKV VC1. I cannot get them to play. It looks like it is gonna start and then I just get a blank screen.

The other format is AVC 1080P. same story except I do get the screen and normal sound but extremely slow (probably 3FPS).

I did not post any log as I am not sure if these format are supported. I checked the Crystal HD specs and it looks like they are from the card point of view.

I have an apple TV with SAM image SATA internal HD (320GB). I used a Sata bridge to connect it to the motherboard.

Apart from this all my videos are fine (even 1080P ones). Thanks again all for the awesome work.

K.

To disable add-on autoupdating look here:

http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=76600

For the recently added problem try to disable it in Skin Settings / Home Window.

And yes, the way to go is with ssh since in Sam's image XBMC is installed in the root folder

Anyone know where to get the image? It seems to no longer be available at http://bit.ly/eYkFqg

Same question here. Anyone has an idea what is the most recent image and where to download it? Thanks a ton!!!

I think its here:

http://code.google.com/p/crystalhd-for-atv/source/browse/#svn%2Ftrunk%2Fimage

@Sam, could you give us an update on the installer and when you have time to work further on the image. I'm a bit afraid that with all the apple tv 2 stuff going on people will quickly forget about the apple tv 1.

As mentioned in this thread before, Sam is busy with his exams till the end of this month.
I'm shure he will deliver the HDD installer after that!Nod

Is there any way to enable rebooting from the xbmc menu. Now it just quits xbmc and go to bash since its not a sudo reboot.

Also, I'm using xbmc commander (great iPad app!), but most of the time it does'nt allow me to change the volume, only with normal avi files I can use it, but with all my mkv's it doesnt do anything.

I wrote two shell scripts for this purpose. One for shutting down and one for rebooting the device. That's far away from being perfect, but it works well enough for me when adding them to the favorites.

I am happy to use them if you share. Also I am wondering how do you get back an apple TV back to life if you have shutdown?
