- nfusion2011 - 2011-04-10 00:46 I recently tried the AEON MQ2 skin and liked it, except for the fact that it is riddled with navigation problems that occur when using a MOUSE! For more details: http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=771556&postcount=3645 Since this Aeon NOX skin carries the "AEON" name, can I assume the same problems are in this "NOX" release that are in the MQ2 release? Basically since I only use a mouse to navigate, the navigation has to be smooth, the AEON MQ2 release mouse navigation was very choppy and buggy, unlike the default Confluence skin. let me know and I'll give this skin a shot. Thanks - antisuck - 2011-04-10 01:02 nfusion, Aeon skins in general do not support the use of a mouse and in the first post of this thread Big_Noid states specifically that Aeon Nox has no mouse support. So you should probably look somewhere else, and put some effort into finding a skin that specifically does support use of a mouse. Don't forget that a lot about XBMC is geared toward HTPCs controlled via remote, so temper your expectations a bit and look through some threads. - nfusion2011 - 2011-04-10 05:51 thx - Big_Noid - 2011-04-10 09:47 antisuck Wrote:Fair enough. It's a good idea. I will implement this and add a root entry to the sub-menu. Seeing XBMC is a library centered application this seems like a valid change. Thx. F-Wolf Wrote:After running the TV Logo script, I notice it just dumps all the jpg's right into the TV Show's folder, I have gone thru extreme lengths to properly name/organize all 10,000+ TV Show episodes I have for other devices in the house that do not/can not run xbmc, and so when people come over then can easily find everything in the folders. As of now, this is the only solution for showing logo's and such. it's a script feature btw. In the future XBMC will make use of centralized skin art work and this won't be necessary. newphreak Wrote:Missed this one, I will fix it. - Shinu - 2011-04-10 16:19 is there anyway for u to make a 'cinema' submenu noid? i kno u have an option to have all movie submenus use the cinema script, but i'd rather have a dedicated option to use the script instead of having all submenus use it. - F-Wolf - 2011-04-10 20:11 Big_Noid Wrote:As of now, this is the only solution for showing logo's and such. it's a script feature btw. I have a question, that may or may not be relevent to this skin, but I only noticed it when I aplied this skin. A couple of my TV Shows have Season 0 folders. They show up correctly like so here: ![]() Tho when I open them up, they are out of order, like this: ![]() ![]() As you can see, S00E28 and S00E29 are not in the right order. Also, if I go to Season 1, I can see the speicals in there also like this: ![]() So my questions are, is there any way I can get specials in the correct order? Is there anyway I can get specials OUT of the season folders and only show up in the special folders? - Victim - 2011-04-10 21:41 Is it possible for you to add at border around the poster in the Dialog FullScreen Info? It doesn't necessarily have to use the same glow as the Neon65 theme, but it's just that some movies with darker posters tend to blend in with the bottom osd bar. Thanks!
- Rionsic - 2011-04-11 10:28 This must be already reported but in case: ![]() As you see above the text "Current time" and "End Time" are missing besides the times themselves. Is it me or is this a bug? - st graveyard - 2011-04-11 23:33 Hello all, This is skin is just fantastic. I'm new to XBMC. I was using the AEON MQ2 on my intel I5, but this NOX version is so much smoother. However, it might sound stupid, but I'm missing something the MQ2 version had. The total amount of artists, albums and songs in the library on the main music menu. Is this perhaps configurable in NOX as well? Thanks, Grave - VannBall - 2011-04-12 06:15 Hey. I really hope someone can tell me how to fix this little problem Im having here, its driving me nuts.. So Ive configiured my setup the way I want now, however when I create a "favourite" menu item like "live music" then fanart doesnt work, and actually it doesnt even show the backdrop I select in "settings- skin" but instead the background for "video" This happpens for every favourite I make, so as a result I have to display them in "wall" as thats the only mode which allows me to remove "fanart" however that then means I cannot use "wall" for any other menu item beacuse enabling "fanart" there turns it on for "favourits" also.. Hope im understandable, basicially what I want is just fanart enabled for favourites, how do I go about that? Could deleteing dll some file possible solve the problem? Edit: btw, this problem works correctly in mq2, but not in nox for some reason.. |
