To my knowledge it is not possible to create s shortcut for switching views.
went and enabled stripshow view and went back to tvshows > latest. tried hitting different buttons to bring up the menu to be able to change the view but cant. had to go turn stripshow back off to get back to a view that I can actually change settings for. just saw the comment about mapping the view type, will try that out.

Maybe you kiosk mode enabled? (settings->skin->viewtype -> enable kiosk mode/ alternate mode)

Okay, I'll try if I can reproduce. Yesterday I fixed the wrong center offset and the list being cut off at the right.

No, that was the case and that was what was fixed. Now you see the home window backdrop again in the root.

I cannot reproduce it. Do you have a nightly build later then 19th august?
