Shuttle power supply question - bennybee - 2011-01-06 Hello, I want to buy a Shuttle XS35GT-804, but it is a lot more expensive in Europe than US (as is often the case) My brother is coming home next week from NYC, so I was thinking of asking him to bring one back. The question is if the included external power supply is going to switch from 230V or only works at 120 if I get it in the states... Anyone know? - magnetik - 2011-01-07 Don't quote me on it, but I would be 99.99% sure that like most laptop style power packs they will switch automatically between 120/240v. Worst case the money saved you can probably pickup a cheap 3rd party power pack copat. with your local voltage. - bennybee - 2011-01-07 Thanks! I ordered one. I went down in my basement and found power supplies from 10 years of heavy laptop use (I break them running matlab..., power feed connector melts), so I guess I am OK in any case... |
