I tried with all skins and i just cant stop the media from playing.
Are you using DSPlayer as Default Player?
Could you please tell me which exact version you are using or put a download link for me?That would be nice.

Heres my take on a Night version

DOWNLOAD **make sure to update Night via GIT as I added a couple new fonts, otherwise the text wont fit as well as it should...

Excellent work, as usual, mcborzu.

I have an issue and Im not sure if the script is supposed to do this or not. When I enable force channel reset and start PseudoTv the channels are reset. Later after I stop it and restart the channels don't reset. It uses the same play list every time. Is it only supposed to reset the channels ones? How do I get it to reset the channels every time PseudoTv is started. I also noticed that the force channel reset goes back to being disabled.

- zepfan - 2011-03-23

Yes. That's normal. You can set it for everyday, as that will reset once a day. As of yet there is no every time option.

- Micah - 2011-03-23

I kinda figured thats how it worked. I have it set to everyday but I restart PseudoTv several times a day which means the same play list plays over and over. I have gotten in the habit lately of just deleting the .m3u files before each restart.

While it should be using the same playlist, it shouldn't be restarting the playlist at the beginning every time you start PseudoTV. It should remember where you last stopped watching and continue from there.

If you noticing an undue amount of repeats, you might want to increase the limit on the smart playlist. I have mind set to 200 for tv shows and 50 for movies which works out quite nicely. You may also benefit by setting the interval PseudoTV uses to reset the playlists to 'Let PseudoTV decide' or similar.

Not sure why it remembers where you stopped. It should play what was originally scheduled for the time that it currently is, that would make it more like real TV, which doesn't stop if you aren't watching it.

It's more like a DVR but with a nice EPG on top of it. Personally, I like how I can stop and pick up where I left off.

Is there any way this could be optional? My preference is for it to play as per the schedule, not to pick up where I left it.

IMO one of the key values for this is being able to flick on this add-on and be presented with random type content, not the content I was last watching when I chose to turn it off.

I've actually gotten requests like this several times...for PseudoTV to "continue" even when it's turned off. I'm working on several features at the moment, and I'll add this to the list of things to look into.
