NFS newly-added movies not being scanned into Library - mr.sparkle - 2011-01-17
Yesterday, I migrated from Samba to NFS by sharing my /media folder on the server (and all drive volumes sitting on it). Got it working with crossmnt in exports and nfsvers=3 in the fstab.
All movies that were already in the Library were correctly scanned using the .nfo files that were in the volumes. But newly-added movies are not being picked up in a scan. Playback is fine on everything, though.
I can also write an empty text file from gnome on the client into the shared folder.
Running Ubuntu Lucid on the server, Karmic and XBMC 10.0 on the client if that matters any.
