ok, so i love how simplistic alaska revisited is, but for some reason, my music library will not show any of the songs in library mode.
i dont know what to do.
they show up in files mode, but when i switch to library mode, nothing shows. what am i doing wrong?

You need to scan them into the library, go to music root and bring up the context menu then select scan into library. XBMC reads the ID3 of every mpeg file and adds that info into the music database.
Be prepared to wait a long time if you have a lot of mp3's.
