Quick Question about refresh rates - silvine - 2011-01-21

My Samsung TV has a native refresh rate of 100hz. When I change the input to XBMC it says on the info panel of my tv that the refresh rate is 60hz.

How do I increase it or make sure when I am playing 1080p files in XBMC that the refresh rate is optimised?

I looked in the resolution section of Windows 7 and it won't go higher than 60hz.

I've an Acer Revo box connected to my TV via HDMI.

Optimized for 1080p is 24hz, not 100hz. 24 hz is the framerate it was shot at.
