I thought it would be a good idea to get a list of the working add-ons in one place.
I just installed Navi-X via zip on my iphone. I placed the zip in /private/var/mobile.
Add-on: Navi-X
Device: iPhone 4
Working: Yes.
Notes: Tested with a movie (Blue Valentine) and it streamed well with audio.

I dont think its a good idea because this "list" can be very outdated in some weeks and confuses users.
a more better idea is to enable debugging and take the logfile and report the issues to the addon devs. This will helps much more.

I have the Hulu plugin from BlueCop's repo installed. I can drill down to episodes, but when trying to play, the loading times out and the stream never starts, not sure if it is an issue with decoding flash on appletv2
Addons from xbmc.org work, but the ones I have tested are a bit choppy (funny or die specifically)

Can you post some debug logs ? I had similar experience with Windows (works) vs Linux ( doesn't work ).

where are the logs for xbmc on iphone and ipad? i searched the ussual place for mac osx but didn't find them.

sure, if you can point me in the right direction. kinda new to this whole thing. I have ssh experience via iphone jailbreaks, but this is my first foray into xbmc

ok found it in /var/mobile/Library/Preferences/xbmc.log
I don't think it has RTMP support. rtmpe addresses give me unsupported protocol error.

So, looks like many addons using RTMP like Hulu won't stream until support is added?

Actually for me:
ATV2/VIDEO:
pelisalacarta - don´t work - various errors when load stream
tvalacarta - the same
ATV2/MUSIC:
grooveshark: the buttons doesn´t work
listenlive: don´t work - no charge streams
shoutcast: don´t work
soundcloud: work´s!
IPAD/VIDEO:
pelisalacarta: work version 2.20

How do you install 3rd party addon on appletv2. How do you download and install the zip file for the repo? Where do you put it etc. im lost on this.
What addons are you using that work so far. I have installed youtube and trakt and it seems to work. I tried revision 3 and no videos could stream.

Yes - Pandora appears to work very well on the latest meshuga build. The only problem I had was the keyboard wouldnt allow me special chars for my email address so I had to use nano to edit the settings.xml file:
/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/userdata/addon_data/script.xbmc.pandora
