wget http://mirrors.xbmc.org/apt/atv2/deb/org.xbmc.xbmc-atv2_10.0-7_iphoneos-arm.deb

dpkg -i org.xbmc.xbmc-atv2_10.0-7_iphoneos-arm.deb

rm org.xbmc.xbmc-atv2_10.0-7_iphoneos-arm.deb

Thanks for that. Just downgraded. Was having the same issues as reported on here, slow slow slow.

No Problem, but....

Can you please both edit your posts and remove the parsed links, otherwise others users following this thread, wishing to downgrade, will not see the correct wget command. Thanks.

You could find all you need on that mirror :

http://distrib-coffee.ipsl.jussieu.fr/pub/mirrors/xbmc/apt/atv2/deb/
and in parent directories :

The new update works great on my iPad, and I love the mouse pointer support, but on my ATV2 it is just way too slow as of now, so I had to downgrade.

Thanks for providing a different mirror, but I would rather point members to the official mirror, rather than this experimental one.

It's a mirror. That means these are the exact same files as in the official server.

Thanks, I am aware of the meaning of a mirror. I just didnt see how it was relevant for providing info on how to downgrade.

It's a problem with your setup. Mine is not crashing (at all).

Thanks all

Where did you get 09 from?
Isnt this thread about the 'official' build which is 08?
Did I miss something - Sorry - wouldnt be the first time....
[EDIT: Ok _ see the reference on your ticket - Guess I have to poke about...]

I am still on 08 and it seems to have settled down a lot - takes around 10-20 seconds before video starts playing - but thats almost instant compared the to 2-3 minutes it took initially. I have no idea what was going on for the first 24 hours or why it seems to have settled down I just use the file browser - no libraries or anything.

Unfortunately I hadnt worked out how to grab the log files when it was going bad and by the time I had it seemed to sort itself out. When it was going super slow the rotating circle next to "Working" seemed to be stopping and starting rather a lot - so it certainly seemed to be doing something.

This version hasnt crashed on me so far - plays mp4 files that the last official release wouldnt play - so thats an improvement.

Also - I really like the new menu layout - it now seems more like the menu layout on apple tv - so it seems more consistant.

Does seem a bit slow to closedown xbmc when you shut it down - it was quicker on the old version I think.

did the apt get update via nitro it was there 09 that is, back on 07 can not get a few plugins to work still, unless someone comes up with a solution on Pandora and weatherplus

Thanks all
