Added to first post with "Although not universal, a significant number of users are reporting[...]" caveat. - drjt - 2011-03-23 10:23 drjt Wrote:no Karaoke-Settings -> no CDG-Support. with the latest version from 20.03.2011 it works in parts. The setting are available. The visualisation works, but.... the synchronization is not correct. There is a delay of the music. (You don't have, if you test the cdgs on a pc) ...and if you stop a CDG, you always get a black screen. You can't go back to the starting menu - procrastinator - 2011-03-23 22:42 thanks drjt. Fixed issues will be updated when the next official release is made. Please report the status of the fix(es) when the next official release is made. - macollin - 2011-03-27 04:20 Quick question, I have seen numerous references to ISO files now streaming fine in this forum. I recognize that the first post of this thread states it currently does not work, so I was hoping to get clarification... I have tried streaming ISOs from both my NAS and my PC over SMB and I immediately get buffering and slow motion play. The ISOs I am testing are standard def ISO files. A couple of interesting things here: 1) I am able to stream 720p mkv files fine from my NAS and PC; 2) I have copied the ISO file directly to my ATV2 and it actually plays fine. I am using the following build: http://hadm.net/~keith/xbmc_atv2/org.xbmc-032311_atv2-arm.deb Also, if anyone is interested, a debug log of my buffering and slow motion playback of SD ISOs can be found here: http://pastebin.com/fsaVn6bQ I am also happy to provide a sample file as well. Thanks in advance for any clarification, help, etc. - kilik64 - 2011-03-31 06:10 try the latest nightly, see if that helps. latest is 326 - SandmanCL - 2011-04-12 01:48 The original post in this thread was very convenient when it was regularly updated. The thread is now 20 pages long; hardly "at a glance" any longer :-) - procrastinator - 2011-04-12 01:52 original post is still up-to-date for the last official iOS release (10.0-7). It's not been updated in a long time because there hasn't been an official release in a long time - BoomSchtick - 2011-04-16 02:04 haffi Wrote:issues with smb / buffers / on networks Is it possible to access CIFS or NFS shares with XBMC? I wonder if that would help with the SMB issues. - jd2157 - 2011-04-18 00:03 BoomSchtick Wrote:Is it possible to access CIFS or NFS shares with XBMC? I wonder if that would help with the SMB issues. What's the practical difference between a CIFS share and an SMB share? As for NFS, doesn't seem to be an nfs client on the atv2. Some folks have installed it on for other XBMC platforms though, not sure if it works on iOS: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=61224 - tshire2 - 2011-04-19 23:02 As an iOS developer mostly iPad. Is there any reason that I can not download source and Xcode project and build and test on ipad2 without the need to jailbreak the iPad or is there a specific need to jailbreak? |
