uploading custom xbmc to atv2 - lemonboy - 2011-07-06 23:19 How do I upload a custom compiled XBMC to the atv2 via an Xcode compile on a minimac - I am new to Mac and have only bought it to provide xbmc via atv (multiple) and am generally more comfortable with linux and windows. So apologise for a newbie type question, but a simple search yielded no results. - Matryx - 2011-07-07 03:34 tebicenter Wrote:hi all where do I get this official build of June 23rd? - gameraboy - 2011-07-07 04:00 Since the scraper bug is such a show-stopper, and has been fixed in git - https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/commit/711ceaa38104368efb681791312e79f5f20e5dd4 - any timeline for the official 10-9 build being re-released with this fix? Right now I have to scan folder by folder, and watch for the last item in the scanning progress bar when I get the incorrect error "Unable to connect to the remote server". Then I have to either add the movie to themoviedb.org or make sure my naming matches what's in the db exactly. - davilla - 2011-07-07 04:37 The next release would be a 10.0-10 and some other things have to fall into place before this can happen. - sjskent - 2011-07-07 06:00 gdegen Wrote:Hi I am new to the XBMC and am having a hard time enjoying the software because of one issue. Been covered in this thread. This should help you out. http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=96685 - thematic - 2011-07-07 12:22 xburchartz Wrote:XBMC official build up and running on my iPad2 now too bad XBMC not supporting touch navigation natively yet (scrolling file list, and bigger button for play/pause/next/prev, seek) hopefully, someday
- Memphiz - 2011-07-07 14:28 Did you try the latest nightly? It supports touch navigation - at least with list scrolling... - thematic - 2011-07-07 16:35 Memphiz Wrote:Did you try the latest nightly? There are some touch skins already out there and an "official" touch screen skin is being made by Jezz (head skin jedi master). In a video/photo mixed slideshow, XBMC doesn't seem to wait until video finishes - fly2thesun - 2011-07-07 19:20 I'm running the 10.0-9 official build. It works quite well for my purposes, but slideshow behaves rather weirdly. I often use slideshow of photos and videos together. ( Photos and short videos of my baby boy. It doesn't make sense to separate the photos vs. the videos in this case ) When I start a slideshow, photos are displayed okay, but videos don't do well. Sometimes I see only "Working" sign on a back-screen and then onto the next picture. Or I get only audio, while the screen just moves on to the next picture. If I press 'menu' at this point to cancel slideshow, then I can actually get back the video playback, although it is covered by the file list. It seems that XBMC moves on to the next picture(or video) after waiting just a few seconds, rather than waiting until the current video finishes. In a previous build I tried( 5/18 nightly ), XBMC would properly wait until a video finishes before moving onto the next. |
