Thoughts about latest git version compared to pvr-testing2 - rdoac - 2011-01-25 05:15

I tried out the latest version briefly. I have two XBMC frontends to one VDR server. I use a combination of ATSC and PVRInput with inputs from a PVR500 and a Hauppuage HDPVR.

1. It looks like Radio Channels no longer exist.
2. TVGuide crashes XBMC as soon as it's clicked on (which my wife does to select a channel.)

I am running Gentoo and a hand compiled XBMC from Git.

Recompiling xbmc-pvr-testing2 solved both the above problems..

The master version of pvr git is known and bound to be glitchy from time to time for example today dushmaniac put in a commit that crashed lots but finished the commit soon after and fixed it.

If you want semi stable stick to the dharma build and ignore the master branch of git
