Does this sound normal? Anyone else having sluggish performance navigating XBMC?

Using an Android phone for control shows how responsive it really is. Its really quick. I normally use a harmony remote for everything but for this I'm using my phone at the moment.

Music library works! Yay! Just need visualizations now and it'll be perfect.

Q: the Facebook plugins launch a browser to sign in.
How do you quit out of this?

Library mode in Music is greyed out, but remote library w/ mysql works

Confirm. Music library works with remote mysql db.

I've moved to using reFocus + weather fanart and I'm happy with it.

Jup same here, 720p over SMB from a Drobo FS. No problem before the 04 update now buffering around every 10-15 minutes. Maybe it has something to do with the changes made to SMB showin in the Commit History.

Best if you can copy/paste the command you're using and the error that you're seeing. It's pretty hard for people to help without the details of the issue.

If I was to guess, I assume you mean step 7 of the install/update instructions, where you run the dpkg command. If it says no such file or dir then you probably made a typo in the .deb file name or in the wget command so the .deb file actually didn't download and isn't in that directory.

Long story short, try the install/uninstall steps again and before typing the dpkg command do an "ls" in the directory to see if the file is there. Make 100% sure you type the right name into the dpkg command. That being said, no offense but if you aren't comfortable working at the command line these unofficial builds may not be for you.

I'll second that, and add a couple of extra pointers.

1) Make sure you copy the full name for the wget command; the URL pointed to be the forum post is intact, but the text displayed in your browser is usually a shortened version (with ".." stuck in the middle). If copy and pasting the URL from the forum, choose "copy link" (or similiar, dependending on your browser) rather plain old "copy".

2) The wget command needs the full path/url, but the dpkg and rm commands only require the filename part at the end of the url.

Has anyone found a fix for this? I tried downgrading, but strangely the older builds also seems to have a buffer issue now..
