For some reason subtitles on my anime 720p mkvs dont work anymore.. they worked fine under the last build.

I went back to the 2-1-11 build, and subtitles work.. well, except for the , at the beging after every new subtitle text, and text staying on the screen til new dialogue starts...

RTMP streams - jj2005 - 2011-02-06

Still having problems with RTMP streams, it looks like an issue with video decoding..

I took a look at the xbmc.log after getting tired of all this buffering issues.. Even got them on SD content yesterday Wink
Anyway, here is a pastebinhttp://pastebin.com/WS6ZquSi

My setup is a ATV2 connected via 100mbit to a WHS with smb shares

And yes thumb creation is off Wink

I just have a couple of issues

1. Firstly I just need a bit of help with the web ui though, i can get the webui page to shows but if i click on the remote tab (the main reason i am using it) i get no response.. im sure i am doing something wrong here.

2. Also anyone using mysql with XBMC on the iphone, i have added the advanced settings xml (like i have on all my other boxes) but XBMC seems to be ignoring it!

Any help you guys could offer would be really appreciated.

This is a problem even in the windows build, the default web gui has never worked for me. Try downloading another one (in the addons section).

what i have to do exactly?

For a start, you might want to try letting us know what the error is...Huh

Official has dropped. Removed the nightly build and installed and everything (except samba on an essentials system) seems to work.

Not sure if you have to remove the nightly, but did anyway.

- chad473 - 2011-02-06

how does one remove the nightly for a fresh install?

just update, no need to remove

Will I gain anything by installing the new official build?

if you asking that, probably not Smile

Yeah, i wasn't sure but did it anyway.. it kept all my settings except for my iplayer an tvcatchup plugins (which i lost everytime i updated the nightly anyway)

that shouldnt happen, how do you install them?

That happens for me too.

I installed them by dropping them into var/stash/Applications/XBMC.frappliance/XBMCData/XBMCHome/addons
using Cyberduck.

Is there a better or more correct way?

yeah, put them in

Code:
/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/addons

they will stick after update
