After instruction 6. I'm getting the following message:

Resolving music.hadm.net... 209.160.39.115
Connecting to music.hadm.net|209.160.39.115|:80... connected.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 404 Not Found
2011-02-03 08:05:40 ERROR 404: Not Found

Any suggestions?

This post is just give you a huge thank you for the great work you guys do. The software is really amazing, the quality of the AppleTV version you delivered is very good for final usage and the support and fixes you guys bring every day is really appreciated.

~Update

it was that my advancedSettings.xml had a capital S, not an issue on windows but obviously a problem on ios.

Will try this all again when i get home.

Thanks for your help! now if i can just work out why webserver isn't working?

If it still doesn't work, try removing XBMC (see the apt-get remove instructions) then do the preinstall steps for ATV and then the install/update steps.

Cheers, after I reinstalled original xbmc menu in frontrow is there Smile

I have followed the instructions for updating to latest version and everything went ok but when I run xbmc in info it says its from January 17 witch is the original installation.

Here is a output from upgrading. I noticed that it put new XBMC.app under private/stash/Applications. Shouldn't it update files under XBMC.frappliance?

You probably misspelled the filename in the URL. I just tried it and it works.

Right click on the URL and goto 'Copy URL Location' instead of copying the text link you see since VBulletin obfuscates the url and adds '....' in when viewed.

You downloaded the iOS build for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, etc.

Download the ATV2 builds for XBMC.frapplication.

Yes. I use dharma-release on my macs and works great along side ATV2 builds.

Please take convos like this outside this thread and into the other thread on xbmc-ios sub forum, since it has nothing to do with my specific build.
