"Scraper" or so to rename my movie files? - jompan87 - 2011-01-28

im trying to find a supplemental tool to rename all of my movies in my current movie library after foldername

we're talking about 437 movies so this isnt a task done easly by hand (currently running an unrar task as most of them are rared)

but what i want is for the scraper/program to name the files inside a directory after the folder name OR if it checks the folder name and then renames both folder name and files inside after perhaps IMDB name? (eg. Casino.Jack.2010.720p.BluRay.x264-iMSORNY TO Casino Jack 2010 720p) or something like that

tryd a few programs but never found anything usefull

Ember should be able to do what you want.

unfortunaly it dosnt have the option to rename the files/folders with quality (eg. 1080p or 720p etc.. not that its "deadly" important, but its nice to see/know when u browse the library via samba)

Ember's renamer does do Resolution. $R in the renamer. $S is source (bluray, DVD, etc. There's quite a few options.
