W7(64) Black screen and only sound - LeechNL - 2011-02-08
I've had this happen on numerous occasions, but infrequently.
When I start a TVshow playback, the sound runs but the screen is black. After about 10 seconds XBMC hangs and I need to CTRL+ALT+DEL out.
I could usually fix it by enabeling debug mode. I always thought the overlay helped put the "focus" on the window showing the playback. When I enabled the debug mode playback would begin normally. So I didn't have a debug log showing what happened. But I didn't really care, because I could watch my shows.
Tonight for some reason enabling debug mode didn't fix my black screen issue. But, fortunatly that means I now have a debug log...
I'm running Windows 7 (64) on a AMD X2 250 with HD4200 Ati integrated graphics. XBMC is stock Dharma with the Transparency skin.
