Good Deal for ION+SSD in the UK... - Mortoni - 2011-02-14
Hi All,
This is my first post on the forums. I've been lurking for quite a while but finally got round to ordering my system to build my first XBMC setup.
I thought it was quite a good deal for folks in the UK so if anyone's looking to buy this is what I've ordered:
- Foxconn NT-330i (£132.99 from Expansys)
- 2GB PC2-6400 RAM (£22.21 from Kikatek)
- Onyx OCZ 32GB SSD (£47.28 from Currys)
Comes to £202.48 in total with free shipping (that's about $320). Not bad for an ION system with an SSD I thought for all my shopping around.
The plan is to access all the media over the network. Initially just on another computer but ultimately on a NAS box. Looking forward to finally trying out XBMC.
Also, I'm a developer/programmer by trade so will hopefully be able to contribute something back to XBMC by way of an addon or something.
