well most used card from Nvidia is GT430....
which does 3D playback and bitstreams hd-audio....

then if not, a card that delivers and has been tested is the HIS HD6570 FanLess

I'm not wanting to do any serious gaming, maybe a few non-taxing indie titles, but I have a PS3 and 360 that will be hooked up to the same TV and a gaming PC that I built this year upstairs.

I figured I'd be fine if I have a separate GPU, so I guess nothing to worry about.

Any HD6xxx card you recommend (I'm open to nVidia as well, always been an nVidia guy)
this one will be perfect htpc for you then- Great Gift (AMD A8-3850) . You should be able to play game and playback bd iso/m2ts/mkv/index.bdmv in full 1080p w/ dts-hd and truehd and 3d too.

Would the A6-3650 be sufficient as well? The A8-3850 is out of stock on Newegg, and this one is $20 cheaper.

Harmony Remote - 1gr8ftoy - 2011-11-17 22:08

I have a harmony remote and really like the Zotac ZBOXHD-ND22-U. Is there a way to use my harmony with XBMC on the Zotac machine? I currently use an ATV2 but want better streaming of high def. And does anybody have a method of controlling netflix using the remote as well? TIA

Thanks I also like http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1295315 which I found after I posted earlier. That solution allows for me to switch application using the harmony as well which I want.

I'm really happy with my ND22 with Harmony One. I don't use Flirc (hadn't heard about it before), but I use the HP receiver that poofyhairguy recommended.
There's a long thread somewhere on here naming the exact model - I hunted that one down and paid a bit more than average on ebay because I didn't want any headaches.

Even the wife digs it. I haven't bothered to program the remote to send key presses to the xbmc, nor have I bothered to tinker with keyboard.xml - I just told the harmony software that I wanted to control a media centre.

I don't use netflix though.
