XMBC becomes black when returning to it - smlm - 2011-02-15
Hi,
I just installed the latest XMBC on my Dell laptop (Vostro 1500, XP SP3), it works fine but when I go to another program with ALT TAB and come back to XMBC, then, I'm in XMBC (it responds to mouse clics) but the screen is all black.. Any idea what is wrong ?

hi smlm,
i've had a similar problem in the past, although i never quite worked out exactly why it was happening.
i ended up using eventghost to emulate mouse clicks when alt-tabbing back to xbmc automatically. this would then bring the display back to me.
