linux alternative to therenamer? - carmenm - 2011-02-18

hi everyone.

getting tired of WHS errors, i decided to switch to amahi (cause it has greyhole support!)
But now i am facing a problem. Iwas using therenamer to rename files downlaoded with jdownloader, but now i wont be able to use it being under linux...
Does anyone knows of a similar product under linux? Something that will scrap infos on the web for movies and tvshows and then move and rename files.

Thanks

Just use FileBot, better than therenamer anyway and cross-platform to boot.

I wrote a program called mnamer that might be a good fit for what you're looking for. Check it out!

Currently it has integration support with TVDb and TvMaze for television episodes and TMDb and OMDb for movies.

Can you also use TMDB for television episodes in your tool, as that is Kodi's current default setting. ( No, I haven't read the mnamer wiki yet Smile )
