i just wanted to say thanks, loco, for your help with your add-on. i use it regularly and wish that i were a phyton coder to do more with it. i'm a java developer but have never done any python scripting.

Tied up with work for a couple days, should be able to take a look tomorrow night. Even with the tiimes in the plot area it is so nice to look at the times and decide what to watch and when. I wish I could work on it myself, but maybe some little extras like this and some talk will help them realize what they are missing. Often times the newspaper says no tv for a game and I look at this add-on and there it is. Sports is lacking on xbmc but with espn3 alone there is always something to watch.

I have this working on my PC, but I get a script error on my Linux box. I followed the directions on Page 1 of this thread as far as disabling The Use Custom User Files after I get into the program menu and disabled the log-in. I have the latest zip file loaded. Any ideas? Thanks.

Have you tried copying all the files from the working machine over to the one failing? Probably just a small difference.

Yes, i`m using the updated file on both.

i have it working. After disabling on the login page, I backed out of the ad on and re-entered. Thanks for your help.

I have managed to get this working after several hours of attempts with just espn3. I however do have a a service provider and login to view espn and the rest but cannot seem to get anywhere with getting all of them to work. Does anyone have all of watchespn working?

ATM only ESPN3 is working for this addon and that was thanks to locomot1f worked on a patch for it.

For anybody having a script failed when playing a video on linux. In my case it was openelec on raspberry pi. Make sure you have a userdata.xml file in .xbmc/userdata/addon_data/plugin.video.espn3 . If not you may be able to copy the contents from that file on a working computer. Thats what i did and its working again.
