I tried this and nothing happens. I think the problem is what locomot1f says, should be blocked my provider (Telefonica) and I dont know how to get the SWID.

Good news! I've got my ESPN3 working again with an IP-address outside the US. It wasn't hard at all and I managed to fix it without any Python-skills at all.
I'm uploading an edited default.py file which should work for everybody.

For everyone who is still having problems please also include what ISP you have I am trying to sort out if its particular ISPs that are having this problem or in general.

Guys Please help me with finding the Espn3 folder so I can replace the default.py file. I found it easy on my appletv 2 but now I installed xbmc on my windows vista pc and can't find the espn folder to replace the file. I've searched the xbmc folder and can't find the espn folder anywhere however it does show up on my video add ons in xbmc.

Question: should we not simply put the modified py file in the rep. I know that it's a temp fix but am wondering for those not so as at ease with copying it. Am also not sure if it's laboursome managing the repo, maybe it is.
