wget http://broadband.espn.go.com/espn3/auth/watchespn/userData?format=xmlThe file should contain all the necessary information. Not even sure if SWID is that important, it is empty in my userdata.xml file. Could be that my provider (verizon) is on their "cool ISPs" list.
Before you try to play anything, make sure all the options (to do with logins and stuff) in the settings are disabled. That works for me.

Now that I'm able to enjoy this fine (if not the finest) plugin, I found a very annoying bug. Reading this thread, couldn't find a mention, but I might have missed it.
I wanted to watch some replays today, and I know some volleyball matches were completed but were not on the list. At first I thought, they didn't update the feed or the streams were not ready. I was in the "library mode" at the time, and because I wanted to play some files that were not in the library, I switched it off. After I played them, went back to the plugin and the games I was missing were there. Hmmm... Switched back to "library" and they were missing again. What is going on

I've been reading this post for a while now, but I can still not get my atv2 to work. I haven't read anyone with the same problem yet. I can get a listing of all the events on my atv2 (live events and past events) if I select the option to use 'user data' without the login. But when I go to an event to play it says "opening stream" but then the script fails. My xml file says "anonymous user" but I have an ECID. Inside of the espn plug in I only have the 'user data' option enabled. Any ideas?

I'm not sure what that means but I'm on comcast if that answers anything. I can watch the streams from my computer no problem.

Looks like a change has been made on their website. Nothing is working. Even the old reliable default.py that was always working can't do much now.

I will check again tonight and let you know. There were some issues watching stuff via the website so I think it could be related. Using 0.9.4

Something must have changed yesterday. The plugin worked like a charm for weeks and I was able to watch ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN U.
But all of a sudden I am getting this error message:
We are unable to match your SubscriberID with a current TWC customer. Please try logging in again and if you believe this message is in error, please contact us at http://www.timewarnercable.com/contact (Message: FQHBR07176)
The funny part is: I don't even have a TWC subscription.
So can anyoone help me?

same problem here, I was able to watch everything a day or so ago no problems, now nothing. Anybody got any ideas! (btw new to forums, but been trolling a while...love me some XBMC!)
--EDIT: Retract previous...I am able to view ESPN3 material but that is all.

You have to have TV service with Verizon Fios, Time Warner cable, or Brighthouse to be able to watch everything
