Does anyone have a link to this addon please? Ive got Bluecop repo, but can only see ESPN (which I downloaded, but failed to work as in the UK) but no ESPN3. Ive had a search through the thread, but cant find any links to the current release. Many Thanks.

The EPSN addon is the one you are looking for.

- ruffian - 2012-01-27

Is the ESPN addon still currently working for all you canadian users?

hmm In that case I get script error when trying to open it. Any ideas? Im in the UK running a vpn, which works on most of the addons. Many thanks.

Germans said they got it to work, so it should work world-wide if so, but I'm also overseas and I can't seem to figure it out.

If someone could please check the errors it would be much appreciated.

Roti2000: Are you watching ESPN through Navi or through the bluecop rep. add-on?

- WildBill - 2012-01-27

ESPN is only suppost to work in the US.

- ruffian - 2012-01-27

It is still not working for me even after WildBill's extensive help (Thank You for trying!).

XBMC Eden Beta 2
Apple TV 2 4.4.4

http://pastebin.com/BQwC6jEc

All videos are displayed, script crashes when trying to load a video. It works fine from a pc browser.

UPDATE:

Just got it working, using twc as the provider and replacing the userData.xml from the website instead of the one from xbmc!

Thank you to all who provided help!

Hello, i am from/in Germany and found the Guide for getting the ESPN channels with XBMC-Media-Player. I installed XBMC, installed the BlueCop-Repo and loaded the ESPN channels and then exchanged the default.py file in the user-appdata-folder. Now i have the lists of the ESPN channels with the live-channels.

But when i start them/one of them i get an error/failure notice after nearly a minute of loading the channel. It says something like that: "Playback failed. One or more items failed to play. Check the log file for information."

I searched all day with the Thread Search for a solution, but nothing that i found here worked with my problem. Still the same. Maybe someone knows what i have to do and can help me. That would be very nice!

Grabbed userdata by hand and it showed me the shows. None of them would load though.

I did an update to change to Element Tree from BeautifulStoneSoup for XML processing.

It should all function the same. It should just be faster.

I am trying to think of a solution for people log-in issues. The javascript file we scrape for login urls can be easily altered to break out scraping. I had to update the log-in code to get the proper urls again. It worked for at&t when i tested

I was thinking adding a setting for the swid and provider. You could just input them rather then having to copy files and deal with permissions. Then you could tick a setting to use them.

BlueCop, the idea of a setting for the provider and swid would give some people less headaches trying to play with permissions and stuff. Thumbs up for that.

Using Dharma 10.1, Windows 7, ESPN .9.6. I'm still getting "Script Failed" after trying to do what's in post 571 and 574.

At first I wasn't able to get into the plugin, but I then entered my free ESPN login ID into the settings and I could get in and see the various programming. The problem now is when I try to launch a "live" stream it tries for a while then says "Script Failed."

I've tried copying the data here http://broadband.espn.go.com/espn3/auth/userData and putting it in my userdata.xml along with creating the cookie based on my SWID. The only thing I didn't do was specify a provider. I don't think I'm needing to do anything special there. I reside in the USA.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Make sure everything is unchecked in setting and if that didn't do it when specify a provider

How do I get this to work? When I click to open the plug-in it says script failed. I understand there are some manual changes suggested in this thread, but I don't know where the files are. I don't have a "special://" path whatever that is. I installed straight from the bluecop repo.

UPDATE: Got it working. If you struggle with this, directory could be C:\UserData\*YOUR PROFILE NAME*\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\"

AppData might be a hidden directory for you too.

Now, QUESTION: if I cancel my Time Warner Cable, will I still have access to this?
