Hey guys,
First of all, thanks for this great plugin!
I do have some issues with it, though. I tried search but since this thread is so damn huge I didn't have any luck - so I apologize in advance if this has been asked before (which I'm sure it has).
Whenever I try to open any of the streams, I get a plugin error and it tells me to check the log file. Why is it doing that, and how could I show you guys my log file so we can figure out what the problem is?
Also, I have the problem that is described in the first post. I have to enable 'Use Custom User Files' before I run the app or it will not start at all. I guess this workaround is fine, but like I said, the streams itself aren't working either. It's not due to blackouts because they work just fine on my laptop.

**EDIT: I figured it all out. Updated the default.py file and changed my userdata file so it said 'comcast.sso'.
However, playback stutters a lot and it stops after about 15 seconds every single time. Any fix for that?

Updated my ATV2 and I can confirm that this works for Livestreams. Will test other add ons and report back, but I've gained access to many streams that wouldn't launch or would continuously buffer. Good job!!

So I've read through a lot of pages, and is it correct that if you're a Comcast subscriber you can only watch ESPN3 through the add-on right now (even though all ESPN's are available in the web browser)?

it's a zip file. Unzip on computer. There will be a Mac folder and a file called "librtmp.0.dylib" you will only need that file. Ignore the Mac Folder.
Pay attention closely here.
Next go back to SSH screen. It should be split screens there. On the right side. You need to go back 3 folders. Or until you see "Applications Folder"
Now go to this folder
Applications/XBMC.fracppliance/Frameworks
Now on the left side go to wherever you unzip your files. And just drap and drop this file to the right side.
Librtmp.0.dylib
You be prompt to replace file. Click Yes. Exit your session and reboot XBMC.
Main apps that stream better icefilms, ESPN, Free Cable, Sportsdevil, 1channel just to name a few.

if you read through the earlier posts it would have told you the same - affects all streaming - i think there is a wiki for librtmp updates

Ok, thanks. Guess I'll have to use AirPlay for now then..
What is the exact reason for this though? It's not like it's a 'hack'; I can watch all of them on my PC without any workarounds.
Is it just technologically impossible at the moment?

I think it because the Swid for comcast is still only for espn3 and not everything.

XBMC already has the ability to use a different Proxy. Just go to this folder.
Settings / Network / Internet Access /
Select Use HTTP then fill in the blanks.
Leave Connection Banwidth set to - OFF
I'm testing a few things to see what I come up with. I'll update later.

Comcast customers notwithstanding, ESPN3 works all the time, but ESPN / ESPN2 will only work from midnight to 6pm on weekdays, and midnight to noon on weekends?

NFL season is here --- ESPN GO was the best add-on. Is it possible for you to fix that. Basically the issue is on bit rate. I had tried all 4 bitrates but does not work. See ESPN GO gives quick highlights of games. Please see if you can fix it for US watchers.

Download this file and install in XBMC. It contains another version of ESPN GO. it's called ESPN VIDEO. same thing just different name. Enjoy

Everything is ready. I"ll post simple How-To instructions in a few hours. Hopefully, no more BLACKOUTS. Also you International folks might be in luck as well. It will fix restricted streaming from anywhere in the world. Including the BBC Player. You can now enjoy watching that from the USA as well.
