Two of mine did just fine updating, but the other two wouldn't. I had to uninstall it and then go into my userdata and remove anything that was weather.plus. Then I reinstalled it and all works fine now.

According to your log, you didn't select a location for NOAA.
Please try to select a location.

aah thanks, thought it defaulted to the location I had all ready set, my bad.

if i set to accuweather the addon works fine...I think there may be an issue with NOAA, it still error'ed off with the zip code entered for the location.

I logged on today and it said it could not update the add-on. I uninstalled the add-on and then re-installed it.

Rebooting XBMC, it still fails to load and thus the forecasts do not work (and so forth).

Here is a link to my log:

many thanks

I tested Dublin, Ireland, but I didn't have any issues.

During uploading the last update, there were some errors, so I think it might cause the problem with updating.
I think you can try to delete the addon's folder manually, and to re-install it.

I did just that and it seemed to resolve the issues! I just showed off your plug in to my dad when he came to visit. As a farmer he thought the 36 hour forecast was cool, with the animated icons Tongue

When you change a provider, you should select a location again for that provider, which is because area codes are different among providers.

If you still have the problem, please post your log file.

Upgraded to the newer 2.19. I have everything working fine except the graphic maps. It shows 0/0 where it use to have 1/69 or so. I checked userdata/addon*/Weath*/settings.xml and the map pack is in the right location. Re-installed and same problem after removing all files associated with Weather_Plus. Re-loaded the large map file also, I do not know why it is not showing maps.

EDIT: Loaded the old one and it is now working again (also, noticed that the older version does not use a settings.xml located in the userdata/addon_data folder). I have tried to get it working with the newer 2.19 release, but no go.

PS. I do love this Weather_Plus plugin!

I reviewed your log.
Do you use accuweather.com? if you do, it's normal to have no maps as for now.
