MySQL and Master Lock - ntriplet - 2011-03-02
I was wondering if anyone ran into this issue and knows how to solve it. I installed MySQL on my media server and pointed my XBMC HTPC to it via the advancedsettings.xml file. I even took it a step further and got it to work with multiple profiles with different db's for each profile. The issue I run into is when I enable the Master Lock to lock out things like Setting from the Kids profile, the Kids profile can no longer see the VideoLibrary and MusicLibrary via the MySQL DB. If I enter the "Enter Master mode" while in the Kids profile the libraries re-appear. However giving the kids the "Master Lock" defeats the purpose. Please advise.

I am actually having the same problem. I am using Eden Beta 2. I basically want one account that forces a user to use a password, and the rest work fine. But, whenever I enable Master Lock the libraries of the other accounts disappears.
