Networking takes a LONG time to start - waldo22 - 2011-03-06
My XBMC box starts from 'off' pretty fast - about ~25 secs.
However, it takes a LONG time (2-4 minutes) for XBMC to realize that it's connected to the network.
I've even tried with a Static IP and it still takes forever.
Question:
does XBMC for Windows depend on any specific services?
ie. 'network location awareness', etc.
I have most unnecessary services disabled.
