Autostart playlist upon Menu selection - jmann216 - 2011-03-06

Hi,

Hope I've got the right place for my first post!

I've loved everything that XBMC has had to offer, and haven't really struggled with getting it to do what I need it to, however, there is one thing I can't seem to find out how to do, if it's possible at all. I'm looking to set up a music video "channel" as such, and have it so when you select my Music Video button in the main menu, the smart playlist starts automatically, as well as at random. I've searched about, but can only find ways to make it start upon start-up. I'm using the MQ2 skin.

Hope someone can help me, and I've explained it ok!

Thanks

Use PlayMedia rather than ActivateWindow to start the playlist.

Thanks a lot, but I'm confused as to where I'm supposed to be replacing these commands, is it in the guisettings.xml? I did try it and nothing happened.

Thanks
